Yep. Most of you read an article and are outraged that people commit heinous acts, embezzle money from a company, or a local politician doesn't live up to his promises.
Big deal! Happens everyday. Every second.
Or a big company like BP petroleum spills a cajillion gallons of crude in the Gulf Of Mexico.
Turn those types of articles and headlines around and think about ways you could profit or help those companies or individuals and look good to the public. Why do you think there are Public Relations
companies everywhere? They help make people or a business look good in the eyes of the public.
Unfortunately, people are easily fooled. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why politicians are seen in a good light even though they may have screwed up majorly, or even committed crimes. Think about Gangsters from the 1920's and 30's, they were seen as loveable rogues who just so happened to get caught up in a crime. Journalists I consider patsy's.
But anyway, think of ways to take situations like that and turn them around. Don't just get on the net and do it. There are a billion or more people on there and your good will will get lost in the bullshit
of other people.Think about local politicians in your town who screw up. People will complain their asses off and nothing is done about it. Why not approach that politician and have them do something
community minded that will help people out. No money involved, just goodwill.
That way people aren't thinking that that you did it just to deflect criticism for something they did.
But in actuality that's why. Because people are easily fooled. I love it!! And ask for money from the city because you helped a politician out. Politicians have writers and consultants yet it seems a lot of them are inept at it. They don't know how to take a bad situation's and turn them around. What i call reverse social engineering.
You can do the same thing for local businesses who may have done something even criminal in nature and turn it around. Or if a business doesn't know how to keep their expenses in line and it's
hurting their bottom line, if you're good at what someone needs done, ask for the sale and get them some free media as well. Show them you know how to get the job done. It doesn't need perfection.
There are always ways of turning things around that are negative in the news that can make you cash on the barrel.
