How To Save Money On Everyday items You Buy Getting Gift Cards From Your Employer

And no, you don't want to get Gift Cards for Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts.

This is about saving cash from creating value for the company you work for.

Think about ways to do your job better for your boss. Then instead of asking for more
money to do your job where you get paid the same as your co-workers,ask to get gift--
cards.

What kind of gift cards you ask?

Okay. The kind you want is the type that you spend money on monthly and it comes out
of your pocket to pay for. Food,or it could be for that expensive monthly hydro bill in
the province or state you live in.

It could be even for small auto type services for your vehicle, or even a 50 dollar gift
card to get gas for your car. Is your mind thinking now?

Think about it,just do a little extra at work and document it. And no, don't sell the gift cards.
Actually use them to save money on stuff you normally buy. Not that coffee I talked about
at the start of this article.

When my employer said he was going to do this,I thought this was a great move. I wasn't
so much into the free gift cards for coffee. Hell, I can buy my own coffee.

Think about the stuff you buy every month that is essential to your life. Food, gas for your
car, or even a bus pass if you take the city bus. That's savings right there.

Talk to your room mate or the wifey and ask here what stuff you buy every month you
could save on. She knows, and if you tell her your employer is giving gift cards it'll have
her pretty little mind churnin' and swirlin' thinking about the great ways to save money
for the two of you, or if you have a family ways to save on the food bill.

There are even other ways to save using gift cards not just from your employer, but possibly from
clients you might have for a small business you run. Times are tough and gift cards are big these
days.

I even use a gift card for using a taxi when I get off work in the morning at times.

So start writing down ways to use gift cards. And like I said don't use them to make money.

Save money. You'll be better off.

The Best Return You Can Get On Your Money--And It's Not From a Stock,Mutual Fund Or Real Estate

What is the best return on your money?

Most people seem to think it's a stock or real estate. Think about those two ways of making money.
The stock market goes up and down daily and you're not guaranteed to make a dime. Real Estate
takes time to make money, and if buy a half a million dollar home and put down 50 G's, you have to make that money back renting out that home.

Then you have to pay for all kinds of expenses just to keep that invest. And if you have major issues with the plumbing, electrical or the roof, appliances or have a flood---you pay for it.

Does that sound like fun?

You could start losing money in no time.

So,you still want to be in the stock market?

Does Real Estate sound like fun either?

Are you crazy?

Here's the best way to get a great return on your money. Buy the stuff you buy for the house and food for the family in bulk. Yes, buy in bulk. You'll save more money in the long run,and that's a better return on your money than a mutual fund, real estate or a bar of gold can give you.

Buy tuna in bulk from Costco, oatmeal, rice, beans. Healthy and nutritious food. It costs a lot less and you're healthier. Buy veggies in bulk and put them in the freezer in your fridge. I go to Walmart and buy these things in bulk. I save more money than most people because of this.

I live in Canada and things cost more at the grocery store than in the US. Dairy costs more, and everything I mentioned above costs more, but I know how to save on these items.

Buy toothpaste in bulk too. There are many ways to save money on the maintenance and repairs you get on your vehicle as well. Always look for deals on oil changes and when it comes to vehicle maintenance and repairs, offer to barter with the local auto service garage you've been using the last 10 years and spending a fortune on.

Barter the services that they could use,and you could provide. I'm not kidding. If you're a writer and could write better ads for them, offer that. If you can get them better deals on tools or machines they buy,do that. Look at what they have in their shop and how you could get them deals to save cash on costly car repairs.

If you have kids you have doctors bills, dentist bills or going to the hospital possibly. That costs big money. Put on your thinking cap and come up with ways you can provide services to even a dentist
or a doctor or hospital.

That's worth it,especially if you don't make a lot of money.

Or if you can't think of ways to barter just start sub bank accounts and put money in those accounts that you know you're going to spend money on for your car, dentist or doctor. You're going to spend that money anyway, and you won't wonder where the money went that was sitting in your regular bank account that you get paid in.

Here's another way to save that's better than a stock or real estate. Look for extra ways to make money on the side. I don't mean spending a big whack of money just to start a business either.

Offer writing services like I do online. www.upwork.com or go to www.craigslist.com. There is always someone looking for writing to be done. Or look for people who want websites and software development done and be a middleman to both the person doing the work, and the one who wants these services done.

You could even learn how to make websites and make extra cash. Most people waste their time on the internet, why not make use of it and make money on the side. Learn to make wordpress.com sites.
It's not too difficult.

And if you're a tradesman and have your own tools you could do small jobs for homeowners repairing things or putting together items they may have just bought.

You're saving money buying food in bulk, bartering to get medical type services, starting sub accounts for repairs on your car,and making money on the side, all to save a buck.

That's the best return on a buck I can see.

How to collect social security at any age

I thought that article title would get the hordes lookin!

Years ago I came across an information product on the internet that was originally a mail order product a number of decades back if I'm right. The sales letter talked about how to get a government check forever and not even have to be 65 years old.

I know a few people here in Canada who get a government check forever and are barely 50.

In the next number of months I'll be interviewing a number of canadians and americans on how they got social security and Canada Pension Plan, and how they're coping on getting a government check forever.

If you look at my last article I go into detail on how to save money even if you all you do is collect a government check monthly as your soul source of income.

I can show you how to save money being "on the dole" and actually come out ahead of people who work for a living. Sounds good huh?

It's easier than you think to save money and get ahead of the Jonese's.

How To Stop Digging Into Your Savings And Make Money On The Side

This video is from a guy I recently came across in the last 2 months; Abdul S Mohammed.

This guy has great ideas on saving money, making money and getting your ass moving and have
a great life.

This video from A S delves into why people literally dig themselves a financial hole when it comes
to their bank account, and why they keep digging into it when life shows its face.

What I mean is, people keep on digging into their savings when life happens, but only have one
income source---there by reducing the amount of money they have if any emergency comes up.

A S then talks about ways to combat this by just getting off your ass and start a business or
invest in yourself for the future and make more money, period.

I always say use money you can afford to lose if you go into business or take a course to better
yourself. A S even gives examples of business ideas you can do to make more cash.

If you want to learn how to make more money and put away more in your bank account, subscribe
to Abdul's You Tube channel. You'll see the light on how to make money on the side while you
work a regular job.

Some Basic Common Sense From Carlos Slim Helu On Why Wealthy People Should Be Helping Society Prosper And Be Productive,Not The Goverment

This is a no holds barred interview with someone who gets it. Carlos Slim Helu has the smarts of
business people from a different time who believed in helping society. Not the government.

He says just spending money to look good is not right, and does not help society.

Carlos has prospered incredibly, but that's not what he cares about. Helping others by creating
jobs, not made out of thin air by government, but by business people that have actual business
selling to consumers and creating a solid economy is what is at stake.

If you're a small business person who can help provide a job if you're doing more business with local companies and consumers, and making people more productive, and creating a better economy--isn't that better than depending on government?

Thank you to Carlos Slim Helu for this short but important interview on business, society and helping others without the government who do nothing to really help society.

Leave me a comment on this important issue.

Are Rich People Greedy? Read This And Find Out The True Answer To This Important Question In Today's Financial World

Question for you folks out there;Do You Think Wealthy People Are Greedy?

There is no automatic answer to this question. I was texting a friend tonight and asked him that. I told him to really think about it before he gave a yes or no. Unfortunately I was disappointed when he answered me in less than a minute and said rich people are greedy. I didn't actually tell him my answer and said to him I wanted him to really think about it hard. Then he said he knows rich people who just want more and more. I then said you're thinking about this all wrong. Most people I've asked this question to,including relatives and people who make 100's of thousands a year I asked, still think rich people are greedy.

                                                                                                                                                        Really,that's what you think?

Most people I asked this question to are educated people, yet they don't understand their own answer to this question.

I sometimes think that educated people are some of most unintelligent people in society.
Who Are The Greedy People In Life?

It's Not Business People

As I get older I find that that most people have it all wrong when it comes to being greedy. Most people seem to think that it's people in business who are the greedy ones. Right? WRONG!!!!
Most people in business who have succeeded are there to help society and help employ others and show them how to make money. They give back, believe me. Not every businessman though.
But most others who work a regular job, don't try to better themselves and think that their employer and the government should be there for them, are the greedy ones.

How can you say that Mark?

Easy, it's the way it is. Most people have been educated to think you get a job, pay taxes and put money in a retirement plan to make money. That's all swell, but most people won't make the kind of money they need to have a good retirement. These are the people who think business people are greedy, and complain about taxes and the way the government is run. These are also the people who don't have the guts to take just a little money, just a little of their own money and start a business.
Just dip your toe in a bit and surf the waters of business. Yeah, you might make a mistake. Take money you can afford to lose.

So what!!
Yes,Use money you can afford to lose. Learn all you can from a successful business person and educate yourself. Most of you won't do that, will you? Yep.

But most of you, and that includes you in the corner over there think that the only way to make money in business is to make it all at once. Doesn't happen like that at all people. You think if you make mistakes in business that's a reflection on you as a person. Hardly. As long as you're not a scammer or just out for a quick buck.

And even if you're expecting an inheritance, you have to pay taxes on that. As well, don't expect to win the Powerball lottery. Good luck with that. Even if you won that lottery, most of you can't handle hundreds of thousands of dollars. How do you expect to handle 100 million. I can hear it now, you'll say it won't matter because I'll have so much cash. Yeah, sure, think what ya' there ladies and gents.
Just start a business. Think about a hobby you like to do. Maybe you're a writer like me and a cleaner. Start by writing for people for free, and give a local business some free cleaning for the outside of their business picking up litter. I tell that to musicians as well. Do some free gigs opening for bands. Don't expect a bunch of cash.

Just start. Just do one thing. You're not being greedy, and you'll learn something and help others along the way. Like I said, use cash you can afford to lose. Don't take out a loan from a bank or even a relative. Use your own cash.Don;'t be a bloody Moron! You can write that off partially because being in business you're taxed less than an employee, and you can write off expenses.

You'll feel better about yourself and be able to employ others or take on subcontractors eventually. All in good time. And you'll think differently about who is really the greedy one. Or become a politician and live the ultimate "comped" life. It's like being in Vegas, especially if you're a State, federal or provincial politician here in Canada. I'm just joking about the politico thing.

Just start by searching out local business people who have done well. Offer to interview them and start a website talking to local business people. See what you really want to do. You may not even want to be in business. But you'll think differently about what you do want, and you won't be so greedy.

And you'll know who the real greedy ones are. And it's not business people.
