Hey everyone,
Was just reading an article by a well known investing guru here in Canada. His name is Gord Pape.
He is well known to many Canadians and the media as one of the more knowledgeable writers on
investing around.
This article from Gord focused on how to use the TFSA as a great tax tool, and a way to save money as well. But he said even the TFSA has it's drawbacks. You can only put 5 Grand into it every year.
But you're never taxed on it if you take it out and spend it.
The article was in The Financial Post, one of Canada's most read financial papers.
I personally would love to see the limit go up to 10 grand myself. I like the Tax free savings because it keeps my cash out of the dirty hands of the Feds, and the thing I hate these days--the RRSP.
To me it makes no sense to tax us later while we save money now in our RRSP.
This is a short article from Gord on how to use the TFSA properly so you win,not the government.
Just another way to keep your cash in your hands.

So get started on your way to saving your money and keeping it away from the drones of Canada Revenue.
